Braxton & Tia Hooks
Braxton and Tia Hooks are high school sweethearts who have transformed their enduring relationship into a platform promoting Black love and community support. Their journey began in the fall of 2012 at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas, where they met and quickly became close, attending their high school's homecoming dance together. Their bond strengthened over the years, culminating in a memorable proposal orchestrated by Braxton. He designed a surprise scavenger hunt that led Tia to a local jazz club, where he recited a heartfelt poem he had written for her in 2017 before proposing. The couple celebrated their union on May 28, 2022, in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Beyond their personal milestones, Braxton and Tia are dedicated to uplifting their community. They co-founded the Table View Foundation, an organization focused on providing scholarships and advocating for Black love. Through this foundation, they aim to create opportunities and support systems for Black youth, emphasizing the importance of education and cultural pride. Their commitment to these causes has made them influential figures in their community.
The Hooks also share aspects of their life and love story through social media, particularly on their Instagram page, @table_view14. They use this platform to inspire others by showcasing their experiences as a married couple and their ongoing efforts to support and uplift the Black community. Their content ranges from personal anecdotes to behind-the-scenes glimpses of their initiatives, all aimed at promoting a message of enduring love and community engagement.
